If you've ever found yourself going back to look for at one of our piece that's already sold out, firstly, thank you, and secondly, we want to explain why we don't remake or restock any of our styles, even if they're really popular.

Every piece has a beginning and an end

At Aarabhi London, every style is designed once and made in a single, limited run. When it sells out, that chapter closes. There are no restocks, no remakes, and no second batches, even when a piece becomes a customer favourite. This isn't a marketing tactic, it's a commitment. 

It starts with the fabric

For our Kōr styles specifically, our pieces are either made using deadstock fabrics or custom created organic fabrics. These materials exist in finite quantities by nature. When we work with deadstock fabrics, we try and use the entire roll of fabric which means accepting that once that fabric is gone, the style it created simply cannot be replicated in the same way. Our custom fabrics are a little different, we essentially know the recipe to create it, however as we produce our collections in small runs, we stumble upon the issue of meeting minimum quantities and the risk of over producing. 

We believe in making less and making it well

The fashion industry overproduces on a staggering scale, millions of garments are made each year that will never be worn, ending up in landfill or incinerated. We want no part in that! By making a limited number of pieces per style, we ensure that what we create is genuinely wanted, genuinely worn and genuinely valued.

Small batches mean we can focus on what matters...quality!

Mass production demands speed and volume but we've chosen the opposite. Making in small batches means our artisans in India can take their time with every single piece including, the stitching, the finishing, the little details that you might not notice immediately but that you'll feel every time you wear it. Quality isn't just about the fabric. It's about the care and attention that goes into making each garment, and that's only possible when you're not racing to fulfil thousands of orders.

You're unlikely to bump into someone wearing the exact same thing

When something is made in small numbers, it stays special. You won't find our pieces on every high street or in every wardrobe and that's entirely intentional. Whether you're at a dinner, an event or just going about your day, the piece you're wearing is genuinely rare and that quiet confidence of knowing you're unlikely to walk into a room and find someone in the same dress is something we think is worth protecting.

And it's better for the people who make them too

When you're not producing at scale, the pressure on the people doing the making is completely different. Our artisans in India aren't rushing to fulfil thousands of identical orders. They have the time to work carefully, to take pride in each piece, and to be fairly compensated for the skill and care they bring. Fast fashion is fast for a reason — and that speed has a human cost that rarely gets talked about. Smaller runs mean slower, more considered making — and that's better for everyone involved.

When you invest in something from Aarabhi London, you're not buying something that thousands of others can easily pick up next week. You're choosing a piece that was made thoughtfully, in small numbers, by skilled artisans who cared about getting it right. That's worth something and we never want to dilute it.
