So I thought I’d share a little behind-the-scenes of something we’ve been working on for quite a while… our pyjamas!

What started as a simple idea (beautiful, comfy, colourful pyjamas) actually turned into a much longer process than I expected. We began working on them over a year ago and since then it’s been a lot of refining, testing, and rethinking all the little details that you don’t always notice straight away but really feel when you wear them.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted to use organic cotton. It was really important to me that the fabric felt soft and breathable, especially for sleepwear. I didn’t want a fabric that was anything too heavy or restrictive but just something that feels light, and comfortable to move around in, whether you’re sleeping, lounging, or having a slow morning at home.

The prints were probably my favourite part of the whole process...but I did cheat a little! Instead of creating something completely new, I went back and looked at our previous embroidery designs. I chose three favourites, experimented with colour and placements, eventually creating three new print designs.

We also spent a lot of time thinking about the fit and feel. It had to be relaxed but still flattering, easy but still put-together. A big goal was creating something you wouldn’t feel embarrassed opening the door in. That inbetween space where you still feel like yourself but just that little bit more comfortable.
It’s been a fun process and I’m so excited for you to finally see and wear them!
