Fashion Week Favourites

Fashion Week Favourites

Fashion week for September 2019 has now come to an end so we thought I'd do a quick roundup of my favourite details from the shows.

New York

September 5th - 13th 2019

Marina Moscone

Marina Moscone Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

The draping is so clever and it is sophisticated. I love the way it is shaped and I'll just get straight to it, I want it now!

Oscar de la Renta Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

I can only assume, hours of work went into this piece yet it still looks effortless. The fact that the sheer skirt gradually becomes clearer makes this piece both classy and fun.

Proenza Schouler Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

I love this back, the tie, the pockets and the silhouette. The way it has been drapes is brilliant, I have no other words!

 Proenza Schouler Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

Provenza Schouler are always one of my favs and you can see from these details, the reason why. I really like the drape of the trouser and the way the belt had been placed, amazing and effortless.

London

September 13th - 17th 2019

Erdem Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

Firstly, I'd like to point out the beading and then the way this suit jacket has been draped creating the asymmetric piece. It looks simple but has so many different elements.

Emilia Wickstead Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

Sleeves, sleeves, sleeves. Is there anything more to say? Who wouldn't feel like the most powerful and important woman in the room wearing this?!

David Koma  Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

I love a jumpsuit, I don't know many women who don't. The fitted trouser paired with the cutout neckline, paired with the fluffy and furry panel make this sophisticated and fun at the same time.

Milan

September 17th - 23rd 2019

Marni  Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

This colourful print is so bold, loose, fun, free and feminine, all I would ever want in my wardrobe. Agreed?

Alberta Ferretti  Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

The top is great and all, but the trousers! The silhouette and the way the pocket has been incorporated into that, looks amazing and it just so clever.

Moschino Spring/Summer 2020 Ready-To-Wear

Ok, ok, we don't expect anything less from Moschino. It's always fun, bright and colourful. The print placement is the highlight for me.

Paris

September 23 - October 1st 2019

Dior Spring/ Summer 2020 Ready-to-Wear
In case you didn't know, Dior is probably my favourite high end brand because it's to feminine but these shoes are the opposite and I absolutely love them! Probably my favourite accessory seen during fashion week.

Elie Saab
Elie Saab Spring/ Summer 2020

Ok, the details aren't glaringly obvious and it isn't the boldest look from the show, but this is my favourite. The detailed and sheer jacket is long, paired with the trousers and the leather belt is just so perfectly put together. This is exactly what I want to wear over the summer.

Valentino

Valentino Spring/ Summer 2020
Again, similar to the Emilia Wickstead look, sleeeeeves! The layers and volume of these short sleeves along with that neckline are so elegant despite the unusual silhouette.

Since everyone else is sharing their SS20 looks, I thought I'd highlight a few of my own...
