Awards season is over for another year so I thought I would recap my top 10 red carpet looks. I have always been fascinated by award show glamour and the excitement of red carpet looks.
Looking through them all, I'd say Renée Zellweger was probably the most consistent in her looks, she looked absolutely stunning at every event.
Anyway, the countdown begins...
10. Hunter Schafer in Givenchy

This looks like the most fun outfit to wear. It's bright, colourful and not necessarily something I would expect to see at the Vanity Fair Oscar's party which is probably why I love it.
9. John Legend in Alexander Mcqueen

I just thought this was clever, that's the main reason I added it to the list. A suit is so classic but it's a great twist with the two levels but also the pleats that have been added.
8. Kimberley Schlapman in Dolce & Gabbana

Maybe I'm just a bit biased because I'm a big fan of Little Big Town but this is such an elegant piece! The silhouette is perfect and the sleeves are unusual because I haven't seen tulle used for sleeves like these before.
7. Billy Porter in Baja East

D-R-A-M-A! It was brilliant! I loved it...is there really anymore to say?!
6. Brie Larson in Celine

This was such a classy look and elegant way to add in sparkle. To be honest, I feel like it's not the first time I have seen a piece like this but I think Brie Larson was the best dressed at the Oscars. I was a little disappointed by the red carpet this year, there was nothing that truly stood out.
5.Adriana Lima in Ralph & Russo

Ummm...just wow! Adriana Lima looks absolutely stunning in this. Looking at a close up image of the bodice, I didn't really like it but looking at the full look, I think it's really clever, especially the way the silver crystals from the bodice continue down to the shoes effortlessly.
4. Renée Zellweger in Prada

I've already said it but Renee Zellweger was hands down, the best dress, overall during awards season. Every piece she wore was just classic and fitted her perfectly. This piece in particular was my favourite.
3. J.I.D in RichFresh

I don't know if it is because of the colour but I think this is brilliant. The suit was made of neoprene which is so unusual, just like the pocket on the left side. Suits can be so boring but RichFresh is one of the best for menswear.
2. Kaitlyn Dever in Valentino

A bold pattern mixed with a bold silhouette is not something I would normally think would work well together but works perfectly. The pockets are a big bonus too, of course!
1. Kerry Washington in Zuhair Murad

The amount of work in these two pieces is absolutely incredible, I image it took hours and hours to create. It fits perfectly and is by far, the best look of awards season.
